About Us

Mission of our Church

* To be the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfilment of her great commission considering the Church as the Body of Christ.

* To obey God’s commandment to seek and save the lost, teaching all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Vision of our Church

* To preach, warning every man, and teaching them in all wisdom; that we may present our bodies and souls perfect in Christ Jesus.

* To raise and mobilise mature disciples – winning the lost, strengthening them in the faith, discipling them as leaders and sending them out to multiply and make more disciples.

* Finally, glorifying Him through our word and deeds and to equip each soul to walk worthy of their calling.

Brief History of the Church

Four years ago, through divine guidance and with firm faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, a prayer fellowship was started at Bury, St. Edmunds, to fulfill the purposes of God. God honoured our humble beginnings and blessed the church with families from many parts of England. In 2005, this fellowship was named as ‘Gilgal Pentecostal Church’, according to the guidance of Rev. P.G. Thomas (S.I.A.G) .People were touched, delivered, healed and saved by the power of the Holy Spirit through continuous fasting and prayer. Many people started knowing the Lord intimately and took steps of faith in their individual lives, with most of them taking water baptism and being filled with the Holy Spirit. They started experiencing changes in their day to day lives. Life had meaning for them now unlike before. Here, we strive to remain knit together as a family and have an earnest desire to lead a sanctified life based on the Holy Scripture. We truly believe a balanced Christian life is imperative for each individual’s growth. For this purpose by God’s immaculate love and grace, He has blessed this congregation with a Selfless and Purposeful Servant of God who works dedicatedly with lively selfless elders for the mission. During the week, there are regular cottage meetings in Cambridge , Colchester, Ipswich, London , Norwich & Sudbury .
